A General Idea About Paanchajanya
Paanchajanya is our annual event at IEEE-GIT. It was conceived with the intention of bettering our techno-managerial skills. Over the years, by dramatically broadening its dimensions, it has emerged as a unique event in North Karnataka which is very eagerly awaited.

Why the name Paanchajanya?

According to mythology, Paanchajanya is the name of the conch of Lord Krishna which was blown to signal the beginning of the Mahabharata War.
At IEEE-GIT, we decided to have an event that may well be termed as a tech-fest which would be a battle of technical skills, where young minds would try to prove their supremacy and “gyaan” in various technical fields. Hence we decided to name the event as Paanchajanya. Since then we have worked to establish Paanchajanya as a well known and eagerly awaited event in Karnataka.
