BVB students design car which runs solely on air!
Hubli: Keeping in view the spiralling prices of fuel, four students of the automobile department, BVB College of Engineering and Technology, have developed a fourwheeler that runs purely on air!
A team comprising Shrikant S Maliye, Sanjay T Dharamdas, Reyaz Ahmed Yarzari and Summan S Kanchan, has developed this
vehicle with the help of Jagadish V Mudennavar, a local manufacturer, as part of their academic project work.
Although such vehicles have already been introduced in several western countries, this is something new in India. Tata Motors has announced its plans to launch such a car in 2009-10.

Kudos to these students.
