Tech cos, VTU tie up to improve skills

Firms like Intel, Bosch and wipro are collaborating with technical universities to make engineering graduate improve their skill sets.

WHILE India produces a large number of engineering graduates every year, most transnationals find only 25% of them employable, says a Global Institute study. A recent study by PurpleLeap, an entry-level talent management firm paints an even grim picture

    DSCE CS has recently set up a IBM Centre of Excellence! I feel this is a good step forward, maybe in the near future we will have more collaborations with the industry and get industry projects which will really help us get an idea about what the IT industry is all about.

    Everything is fine. R & D centres etcetera…but VTU, please renovate your tortoise speed website. please someone help VTU in this matter. it is a serious issue. a university which has so many colleges affiliated but has useless website. add servers of your own. i am helping VTU here.
