CLARIFICATION REGARDING THE EXAM SCHEDULE
It is notified in the news papers on 16th December 2008 stating that, the examinations of Visvesvaraya Technological University will be conducted as per schedule.
However, the Examinations on 27th December 2008 stands postponed and scheduled as per the notification No. VTU/Exam/2008-2009/7576 issued on 10th December 2008.
No body is able to understand what this VTU and deccan herald are trying 2 say. VTU should publish a new schedule on its website with the change (27th paper to 19th jan) made prominant as soon as possible within few days. Only this can help us sort out our confusion.

I think we should blame Deccan Herald for giving incomplete information.Somebody call up their office and blast the reporter who did this

i just looked up the vtu site, which has clarified the deccan herald clipping of dec 16th, stating that the post-ponment is still in effect . Good for us. phew ! what a relief
Bottom line- what was supposed to be on dec 27th, is post poned to jan 19th.
please announce this on the main page so that the rumors don’t escalate further. These rumors seem to follow an exponential growth pattern, as we get closer to exams!

Hi gals n guys dont get tensed up here the article says that the exams will be held according to the schedule which it has already announced n one more thing according to vtu rules if the exam is postponed or preponed they hav to tell before 8 days before commencing of the examination dats it
