Visvesvaraya Technological University will explore tie-ups at Global Investors Meet
Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU- Belgaum) will participate in the Global Investors Meet (GIM)-2012, being organized by the state government from June 6 to 8 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre.
In a release, vice-chancellor H Maheshappa said this event will provide opportunities for the VTU to explore tie-ups and collaborations with other leading Indian and foreign education providers and research organizations. The VTU is always looking forward to create a culture of innovation in engineering education and research.
He informed that during GIM, the varsity expects to enter into MoUs with leading Indian and foreign educational institutions and research organizations, which will be helpful for setting up of an institution of advanced studies and discovery and innovation centers . VTU is also looking for a partnership with foreign investors for academic and research activities in aerospace, automobile, mechanical and railway engineering, he said.
